Balance Basic Service Course
Background
Good customer satisfaction is supported by the presence of after-sales service, fast reaction to service requests and the competence of our service engineers. We frequently check the equipment, ensure the high reliability of the instruments and ensure best return of investment. After-sales service is a main factor for our success and accomplishes much more than just fixing breakdowns. GxP, ISO conformance, calibration service, initial verification service, audit and consultation all contribute to the success of our service technicians as customer partners in the market. A continuous learning process ensures the maintenance of up-to-date knowledge and makes our after-sales service organizations more effective and profitable.
Training Objectives
This training is aimed at field service technicians. New service technicians to become an expert on servicing and certifying LabTec products, as well as to become a competent partner for our customers in a short time.

Costs
Travel costs to be paid by participant. Training itselfs is free of charge. MT LabTec will also cover hotel costs during training.

Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of electric/electronics, mechanical engineering skills.
Start & End of Training
The training will start on Monday at 8.15 and end on Friday at approx.16.00.
Traveling
Participants arriving by airplane can schedule their flights to/from Zurich airport. Plan to arrive on Sunday afternoon/evening and depart on Friday after 18:00, or on Saturday.
eLearning
The physical training is associated with a web based pre-qualification course and a final test after the training.
Qualification
After completing all training modules the participant will receive an apropriate certificate.

1st week - Basic Knowhow
· Get to know the classic family
· Operation of Classic balances
· Get familiar with technical data
· Testing the balance the right way
· Disassembling and reassembling
· Adjustment of the Monobloc
· Introduction to LMS Homepage and Service DVD
· Work with LARS Service Software
· e-Loader and data handling
· Visit Test Lab and Monobloc Prod.
· XS precision service
2nd week - Dryers and Phase-Out products
· Dryer HR/HG application training
· HR/HG service training incl. adjustm.
· HB service and data handling
· R/G/B balances Operation, Service menu, LARS and mechanical work
· C.O.S.T.
· Visit balance production in Uznach
3rd week - Analytical Balances and QM
· Quality management ISO/GxP
· Basics of MinWeigh
· Password, Multiuser, Weighing the right way
· Perform program MinWeigh test
· Service on analytical balances AG, AT, AX, XS and XP
· Getting to know the Microbalances
· Metrology training
